This restaurant stands out even in the deep south, where excellent meat-and-three lunch spots are plentiful. The mac and cheese is the best I've ever tasted, and the black chickpea cornbread is outstanding. The salad plate featuring seven different salads is wonderful. Plus, the service is friendly and attentive.
The food was wonderful and the service was genuine. Very glad I was able to try this restaurant out. If you're in the area it is a welcome to the south style country cooking. Lots of love and thought put into each item we ate. Very affordable as well.
Wow, the large Veggie plate was quite delightful! I enjoyed every bite, as it had all my favorite items. I had always passed by this place before, but I’m so glad we finally decided to stop in. We'll definitely be coming back regularly from now on!
I got the sherry chicken, butter beans, rutabagas, pineapple casserole, cornbread, and iced tea. It was all very good and the setting in an old church was fun and quaint. The price was very reasonable as well. Réservez une table maintenant
