Recommend: as long as price is of no concern. I had the OMFG bagel (on everything bagel) with spicy chicken. Overall the bagel was big with good flavor. What I did not like was that it was quite salty and I'd say very pricey at $18 for a bagel (inclusive of tax). Moving to Chicago from NYC, it's been tough finding good bagels, but Gotham has become a regular spot for us. The bread is so chewy and flavorful and the scallion cream cheese is a must, a little goes a long way too, which is different from the gobs used in NYC bagels, but just as good in my opinion. We always order a dozen for brunch parties a day ahead and pick up the morning of. First, you walk up and it says online ordering only and tells you to use the QR code in the window. There is no QR code in the window or the door or any other piece of glass. You go inside you are completely clueless as to where you should go or what you should do and the water cooler is out of water. Someone points out the QR code is on the wall near the counter in the very back. So then I scan it and it tells me that the minimum wait time would be 45 minutes… for a bagel?! Delicious. Gotham definitely deserves a visit. BTW, some people seem to be grumbling about the price and yes, it is a bit pricey but you will be getting something exceptional for your money.

Bagel was fine, but I don't get the hype. I've had better differentiation between crust and inside. Expensive. Good app.

Great tasting bagels, and I also had the pumpkin spice latte. Delicious coffee too. Definitely worth stopping by.
