I was shocked because Southern food doesn't taste as good in the Northeast in 2024 unless cooked at someone's home. However, for those whose families still cook Southern recipes, this will feel like Thanksgiving dinner quality or family reunions in the South. i want to thank the owners for one of the best soul food meals i have had at restaurant. and they do not use pork for seasoning in the greens for those of us that do not eat the swine lol. i had the candy yams that was a perfect 5, the mac was a solid 4.5 and the chicken again solid 4.5 most times you are getting 3s in the northeast so if you miss true southern food this is a must.
Tastey Gail’s has some incredible food. The wait staff was nice and accommodating. I’m forgetting what exactly I ordered, but me and my guest, someone who may as well be my grandmother, loved our meal. Dietary restrictions: I don’t eat gluten, so I just avoided the cornbread. There’s still enough to choose from if you’re avoiding gluten or bread.

The wait wasn't too long since they waited until I arrived to prepare my shrimp, which I really appreciated. The pork chops were excellent, and overall, the food was fantastic. As for parking, there are 5-6 spots available, and there is wheelchair accessibility as well.

Delicious wings and sides are top notch. Homemade BBQ was great. Potato salad was the best I ever had. Mac and cheese was A1.
