Absolutely the worst food I've ever had! I was extremely disappointed. This restaurant should be called NOT Tasty House. I believe in supporting small local businesses, but some just aren't cut out for it. The food was unbearable. We ordered grilled pork over vermicelli, Pho Thai, and beef curry. The grilled pork was dry and tasteless, like cardboard with a little sauce on top. The Pho broth was just okay. The beef in the curry was tough and unappetizing. The restaurant is located in a shopping strip, and the harsh fluorescent lighting combined with disposable plastic cups really killed the atmosphere. This hole-in-the-wall does not deserve a 4.8 rating; that's a serious misrepresentation.
I'm back with an updated review, and it still gets a 5/5! The restaurant is now under new ownership, and the new owner is just as wonderful as the previous one. There haven't been any major changes or overhauls like you often see with new management, which is great for someone like me who appreciates finding such a gem. The food continues to be fantastic, and the Pho Thai is still delicious! The scallion pancakes are thin, crispy, and packed with perfect scallion flavor. I've even brought friends and family who now consider it their go-to spot for pho. If you're in the area, especially as we approach the colder months, make sure to add Tasty House to your list of places to try!
This restaurant is a good choice for takeout or dining in, although the seating area is small with only a few tables. I was hoping to really enjoy the pho, but it didn't quite meet my expectations, so I would rate it a 3 out of 5. However, I believe their rice dishes are the standout items on the menu! I really enjoyed the BBQ beef on rice, which I would rate a solid 4.5 out of 5.
The new owner is charming, and her food is delightful, even if it's slightly different from what we remember. Unfortunately, the menu has been revised, so many of our favorite dishes are no longer available. However, all the noodle soups are still on the menu. It's essential to support small business owners. This place is definitely worth a visit!

We really enjoyed this restaurant when a couple took it over a few years ago, and recently they sold it. The new owner has made the Pho even more flavorful! While she doesn't offer a rewards program, I prefer having consistently great food over mediocre meals with a freebie. I think it's a worthwhile trade-off.
I stumbled upon this restaurant on a rainy day, and I’m glad I did. The place is spotless, very family-friendly, and they accept debit cards. The Pho Special and Satay Beef Pho were outstanding. Highly recommended!
