I had an older woman for my server, Maureen nice lady, maybe hard of hearing. she gave My friend, the wrong salad . I didn’t like the fact that she dropped the rolls on our table and one flew out of the basket and Onto the table. She just went on her Mary way .. she AlsoHad her fingers in our food.. while holding the plates to serve them to us.. I hardly ate anything! I didn’t want to make a big fuss because my dinner friends. I noticed as she boxed up my pasta some were handing out of the box and she used her uncleaned hand to put it back in the box.. I have worked as a server I never ever would have done what maureen had done.. smh time to retrain your staff Tavern..
I attended a babyshower at the Tavern . Very nice and elegant room, the bayshower was wonderful. The one thing I did find strange is the regular customers that had to go through the party to a small room right next to the shower . There was no door to close, so anyone eating had to deal with the shower happening. Not only did the wait staff have to go around everyone to get the food to the small room . The babyshower had a lot of small children who attended and were walking around . Bringing trays through a crowd can get tricky. I am not sure about the price of the venue because I was a guest. But it did not seem like a good setup for parties .
This restaurant is really cozy and beautiful. They have a bar side and a restaurant side (we ate on the restaurant side). Was VERY underwhelmed with the food. We ordered two different burgers, both done medium, and the one was completely pink (as pictured). I also thought it was odd the buns weren’t toasted at all. The staff was nice. They have a large menu selection to choose from.
Probably the common theme for the food is boring . Had the prime rib, which was ok. But the starter soup was lacking flavor. The scalloped potatoes were nothing like any other I 've had before. Its consistency was more like instant potatoes and it 's flavor was pretty bad. I couldn 't eat it. Others in our party had a similar opinion.... Food was boring.

First time eating here. I had the prime rib sandwich and some appetizers. Food was excellent and staff great. Will definitely be returning when I am in that area.
I ordered the Scallops. They were nothing to brag about and the topping was terrible. As if it came out of a box. The onion soup was awesome though. Great staff
We had the prime rib, it was awesome. You get rolls, salad, baked potato and the prime rib. Very good food and service!
Don is an amazing bartender! She is attentive and kind. Thank you for a great Monday night of drinks and snacks.
