Tavern at the Sun was a lovely historic site with displays reminiscent of colonial times. While the drinks were amazing, the food was quite ordinary. The stuffed mushrooms app was actually very tasty, but the mushrooms were tiny. I would never choose such small mushrooms to stuff. The pretzel appetizer was nice, but the Lafayette roast beef sandwich was extremely dry and boring. I have to say that the service was excellent, though. I might try this place again and choose differently.
Disappointed , sums up my review. Sat at bar and ordered burger that was too overcooked though I specified “some pink “ Bartender/server never asked me, how every thing was. Yes I could have brought it to his attention but the bartender’s disinterest made me not want to engage. This basic lack of attentiveness kinda made my visits too unpleasant for me to want to go back. Kid-friendliness: There were kids dining
It’s definitely 1770s vibe but the service is great! Scott was our bartender and he was the best! The drinks were so good, the food is ok, I’ve had better at other places but the atmosphere is a good time and the staff is friendly and welcoming! Definitely would go again when it’s warmer to try the courtyard they have!
My husband and I enjoyed our dinner at Tavern at the Sun Inn. It's a very interesting historical experience upstairs in the dining area with excellent food and service. They have a museum on the main level and a number of historic American flags downstairs in the tavern area. I highly recommend this restaurant. Réservez une table maintenant
The food never disappoints at the Sun Inn. We went during trivia night, which was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, there was only one waiter working in the room where the trivia was held. He did a wonderful job considering the number a patrons being served, but we did have to wait a quite awhile to place or order.
The Sun Inn is the best kept secret in town. The building is beautiful and well kept and the food is great. They had a special Valentine's Day menu still available for the weekend after Valentine's Day which was super helpful to those of us who work during the week. They always think of everything!!
Best burger in the valley, and the homemade mustard and cheese sauce with the pretzel was fantastic. Our server Ashley was really great, service since COVID has been meh almost everywhere and she was above and beyond compared to pre COVID standards. Definitely going back!
Planned a bridal shower here and had a great experience. Service was excellent, especially from Brianna and Scotty. They assisted us several times with the service elevator and assisted us with cutting and serving the cake. We had a great time! Réservez une table maintenant
This is a must do in Bethlehem! Eat in the same building where George Washington stayed! Awesome unique food that's all home made. Great staff. Cool history of the building. Huge outdoor patio, nice place to chill on a summers evening.
