We visited the Lac de Joux area on a fine early October Sunday and while we enjoyed the area, we were surprised how difficult it was to find a restaurant for a lunch meal around the entire lake. Many restaurants were closed and the ones that were open were mobbed with people. We finally managed to get an outdoors table at this simple creperie and were warned right at the outset by the waitress that the service would be slow. In fact the food came quite fast and the service was quite pleasant, given the amount of customers vying for attention. We did enjoy our simple crepes with Gruyere cheese, eggs and mushroom, one of them additionally with spinach. They reminded us very much of the buckwhe...
Après avoir été à la Dent de Vaulion, nous nous sommes offerts une gourmandise sur la terrasse de cette crêperie. La vue face au lac est parfaite, ok il y a la route avec ses motards, mais c'est un peu le charme de l'endroit. Nous avons commandé 2 frappés et un café glacé, la présentation est très soignée. C'est la première fois que je voyais un café glacé servi aussi bien, un grand bravo à l'équipe, le tout a un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Merci
We spoke no french, they spoke no English, but with a bit of improvisation we had some lunch , some sort of cheesecake and some salad, never in a hundred years did i think cheesecake could be as tasty, nice service and such an attractive lady helping me with my map directions ,
I wandered in the region and on the way back stopped at this picturesque little place with a fabulous view of the lac de joux. I ordered the chocolate coffee cake. homemade with dark chocolate and only one hauch coffee. it was delicious! Réservez une table maintenant
