If you consider yourself a foodie, make Ten Ren your first stop on any visit to the San Gabriel Valley. With multiple locations and a huge menu, Ten Ren is so much more than a boba place! They offer classic Chinese/Taiwanese snacks, tea-based drinks, alcohol, and even full meals like hot pots and various fried rice dishes. I live on the East Coast, but I hit up Ten Ren on every visit to So Cal. In fact, I will be going there this evening for my usual fried tofu, tea marinated eggs, and a matcha milk tea. It?s so nice, while traveling, to snack on something that hasn?t been purchased at a convenience store. Service is always friendly and usually fast to boot. Love me some Ten Ren!

Tonkotsu fried pork rice This is like best of both worlds. Theyhave great drink and food selections that I super love about this place! The best from the menu is hot pot. I loveee it! A lotof students hang here after class which I know this place is cool. I always think I?m not hungry when I order boba but I?malways hungry hehe. I ordered a lot because their menu looks so good. Food is solid and a good option for Mexican when we don't have too many to choose from out here. My only gripe is the wait times could be long during lunch hours which kind of sucks if you're on a time crunch but I haven't been by for a while so thatmight have gotten better by now. I like to order the mayan nachos with al pastor. I sometimes get the chile verde burrito toowhich is a good one.

The only downside is the sometimes long wait during lunch, which can be frustrating when you're hungry, though I haven't been recently and that may have changed. I typically enjoy the Maya nachos with al Pastor and occasionally the Chile Verde burrito, both of which are tasty.
I ordered online through Postmates, and picking up my order was incredibly easy. I really missed dining here! I used to come to this restaurant regularly before I started working from home in 2020. Visiting today was such a delight. Thank you for the quick service and delicious drinks!

Great boba and always a spot I'll hit up when I'm in the area. Tried their food for the first time and the hot pot was good. The beef roll is not the best but the popcorn chicken is good and spicy.
