I 've been going here for over 10 years. The last two experiences have been really disappointing. I placed an order over the phone. Came to pick up (was handed my bag), left, then about 15 min later I received a phone call that I got the wrong order and could I come back. I said I would try, but had other errands and also a ferry to catch. I decided I couldn 't make the extra 20 minute drive (in the wrong direction), to get the correct food. She then calls again and I said I couldn 't come back and had to catch my ferry. We've started coming here recently as my Bfs coworkers brought him here for lunch one day and told me I had to try too. We probably get this place once a week now. I've been going to many many teriyaki places around and this one definitely tops all the ones I've been to in Snohomish county so far. The spicy chicken katsu is the best out of any teriyaki place I've tried and probably my favorite dish. Along with the sesame chicken, and Yakisoba noodles. There tempura is light and crispy. Their bento boxes come with plenty of food and the staff is always so nice when I come inside to pick up my order. Will keep coming back because I don't think I can top this place now.
There's a lot of good food options in this area but Wok Express is my go to for teriyaki here.The quality is always consistent, and always comes out nice and hot. 13 bucks gets you a meal that can last two days, so it's not a bad deal at all! Its not fancy, but it's always tasty.The staff here are always very kind and helpful i saw the front staffperson hold a door open for a customer with full hands. Its nice to see that level of customer service still around these days.Highly reccommend coming here if the decisions seem overwhelming it's a chill hole in the wall with good food. And that's all you need for teriyaki.
I ordered a chicken and beef teriyaki combo, and it was quite enjoyable. The sauce was lightly drizzled, and both the beef and chicken were seasoned perfectly. The white rice was just the regular kind, but it complemented the dish well. The salad didn't come with dressing, but the seasoning more than made up for it. Despite how busy they were close to closing time, the staff worked quickly while maintaining a high level of quality. Overall, it was a fantastic dish for my first visit here! I ordered two meals, and I was quite impressed. The chicken teriyaki was outstanding; however, I might ask for extra sauce next time. There was plenty of perfectly cooked chicken, and it also included a salad. The Bento meals were also fantastic and came with tempura. Overall, I would give the food a 5 out of 5.
