Terrace On The Domain

I have dined here numerous times; the outside tables have a great ambience, inside can be quite noisy. On the day we lunched recently, my friends said the chicken salad was very good; it looked fresh and the serving was generous. However the pasta with prawns was very disappointing; the pieces of prawn were tiny about the size of a chickpea. I notice this dish is no longer on the menu. Also on this occasion the service was disappointingly inattentive; our empty plates remained sitting in front of us for a long time after we'd finished eating and we had to ask for them to be cleared. And then a while later we had to ask to see the dessert menu. Overall not up to their usual standard.

This restaurant is beautifully situated in nature, right across from the AGNSW, making it a lovely location. Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. We waited 90 minutes for our main courses! We asked three different staff members to check with the kitchen, but no one ever got back to us. Eventually, we found out we would have to wait another 15 to 20 minutes. We ended up leaving, and it really spoiled our special occasion. We are very disappointed.

The food was enjoyable, but the timing was a different story. Our coffee order was overlooked, leaving us waiting unnecessarily. We arrived at 1 o'clock and didn't finish until 3 o'clock for just one main course and a possible coffee. We ultimately had to give up on ordering dessert!

Excellent location but the quality of food and service are very disappointing. No manners from waiters and waitresses which is vey sad and I would probably never go there again. Pitty given its location is a excellent for all occations Réservez une table maintenant

We had a great lunch, pastas and salad, outside on the terrace on a beautiful day, overlooking the park. We found the food and service to be just right for a midweek meal and the setting wonderful. Will definitely be back.

Eating was excellent, but the day we visited the service was very slow, had to wait 20-25 minutes for a drink and had to follow on our order with a series of localities. the food was delicious and could not harm it.

Very disorganised,, booked table two weeks ago at the beginning staff couldn't find reservation but table was ready. The quality of food is below the average, would not recommend for any occasion. Location is good.

Fantastic location with exceptionally attentive staff. Prices are very reasonable. Everyone in our party of four absolutely loved the breakfast menu. It's a special place! Réservez une table maintenant
