Totally satisfied and highly recommending it. We arrived at 19:30 on a Friday night and was taken to the first floor as the ground floor is full. The atmosphere is great nice Thai style wooden chains, patterned placemats and painting on the wall, and most importantly relaxing music. I felt like I am in a nice Thai SPA room. The food is very nice and served with delicate dishes, bags and candle base. We had sticky rice and green curry with pork, which is spicy but definitely delicious yummy when mixed together. The starter combo including chicken satay, spring roll, prawn toast and stick fried prawn is hot and tasty, which are well suited on mixed vegetables that have been flavored with sweet...
I visited Thai Orchid on Thursday 2 May 2024 in the early evening, a weekday during term time. I was with two other people. This was my first visit. I used Google Maps to find the restaurant, which was easy and led me straight to the right place. There is ample parking nearby at Salisbury Central (Short Stay) Car Park parking is free after 6pm and there's a short cut between the car park and the restaurant, passing by Salisbury Playhouse. The restaurant comprises of one small main dining area with plenty of tables with full table service. The restaurant was brightly decorated.
Thai Orchid is still my favourite Thai restaurant in Salisbury. The food is absolutely delicious, and so well presented. The staff are very friendly and really look after you. Inside it has beautiful wooden carvings in the tables and chairs and the ambiance makes you feel like you are in Thailand with the traditional, calming music. Thank you so much for another great meal!
Maybe it's a little expensive, but really worth the money. Been there many times and the food it's amazing. Great place, it's not a fast food. May take 10 minutes or more until your food it's served. Been there a few times after my last review and still love the place. Absolutely love the fried rice.

Came upon this lovely Thai restaurant whilst on a stopover in Salisbury. Fabulous food, amazing flavours. The coconut rice is the best ever, cooked in coconut milk and so creamy. Great service too. Highly recommend.
Wonderful Thai staff, super-delicious food, great Thai decor, ambiance music is lovely. I’m so stoked I came here (on the recommendation of a friend). So good! And the elephant-shaped tea pots made me very happy!
Thought we’d try due to the good reviews we’d read but the food, whist nice, was rather bland (expected more with one chilli marked on the menu) compared to what we are used to. Very friendly and decent service.
Party of 4, everyone enjoyed their food which was served hot and beautifully presented. Delicious Thai green curry. Portion sizes were good. Service was good. Highly recommended.

Lovely meal, authentic, good service and a good atmosphere. A small restaurant but worth the visit. Will return and try a new dish.
