The Almanett Bistro

Didn't stay, just came to the restaurant. My girlfriend had the catfish plate and I had the burger. The catfish was spectacular as always. Chef Pokey does an amazing job. The burger is in the top 3 best on the coast!Nearby activities: Jones Park is basically across the street. Only 3 blocks from the night life I'm downtownSafety: The police station and federal court house is a block away. Very safe place!

Wife and I went for Fathers day for the first time. The place looks very nice, loved the historic pics under the table top. The servers were very nice and attentive, the food that we had was very good. The only thing that needs to improve, is the wait time for your food, it took way to long for our orders to arrive.Service: 5/5

Food and Drinks: The Lava Lounge is an outstanding venue to check out. Their fried green tomatoes are truly unparalleled. Be sure to visit on the third Saturday of each month for poetry night—it's always a wonderful experience. Overall Ratings: Rooms: 5 | Service: 5 | Location: 5

We ordered two dishes, and it was quite pricey at $52. Sadly, the gumbo was terrible; it was so salty that it was inedible. The portion sizes were also quite small. However, I must say the service and location were excellent, both rated a 5. Réservez une table maintenant

This was a terrific place to stay the room was really lovely, the food was fabulous, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend and will return when I have the next opportunity to travel in that area.Rooms: 5/5

Went to eat some food. The food was good. Would I go back and try a different meal? Yes I would go back ans try and new meal. It wasn't busy. The waitress was great. She has good customer service amd very friendly.Service: 4/5
