I’ve lived nearby for years. It got bought out during COVID and it’s not the same. Drink prices are still fair and it’s still a little locals bar, but don’t even THINK about ordering food here anymore. No more salads, below average burger, below average Sheppard’s pie, and the fish and chips were so laughably terrible (small, rock-hard, perch) both me and my friend left them on the plate after one bite even though we were starving. I live nearby and have been going here for a few years. There was a point where I was nearly going every single day after work, even. The recent change in ownership can certainly be felt, for better and for worse. The food used to be decent, but it's now bordering subpar. I miss the amazing burgers and chili they used to have. Wonderful local pub. Ownership changed during COVID and my experience with the new owners has been nothing short of fantastic. They are gradually reinvigorating the menu and trying new things. They are taking the time to make sure new menu additions are worth it. Solid pub food. I usually get a 1/4 lb burger and fries and am never disappointed. Staff is always friendly and accommodating.
Legit pub. Beer, food, and the owner made me food himself so I wouldn't have to wait. Glad this place made it through COVID because they're good people who care about the neighborhood.

Fantastic place and atmosphere. Friendly staff, great service. People complaining in previous reviews are friends of the old owner and going as Karen as possible for no reason.
It's a neighborhood Irish sports bar, home to The Chicago Spurs! Come for Tottenham games or Blackhawks. Good local spot with people who care. Great drink selection.
Fish and chips not what it used to be. Will not order again. Over cooked bad batter. Soaking in oil. Nothing crispy flaky.....chips were also not crisp all soggy…
The food was absolutely delicious and the bartender was super sweet. I highly recommend the Buffalo wings. A nice crispness to the skin and a lot of sauce.

Awesome service and relaxed traditional bar. They had Boddingtons, which is one of my favorite beers.
