We have been three times on our holiday to this restaurant. Great views over the harbour and friendly staff. The first 2 times were good, nice food. The third time was very disappointing. My wife ordered the butterfly chicken with salad. The salad was swimming in dressing and the chicken could have done with a bit longer cooking time. Also got charged 3 pounds for mushy peas. On another night we decided to try fish and chips from the takeout part of the restaurant. We had to wait 20m for a piece of cod, cost over 10 pounds. It was small. We won't use takeout service again. In relation to the restaurant it's a shame, it could be so much better. Overall 5/6 out of 10.
First time eating in this restaurant we certainly weren’t disappointed. We had a lovely table by the window, our two waitresses Emma Holly were very friendly helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had sesame chicken to start which was delicious, sea bass for main, cooked perfectly we shared a cheese board, Emma brought us extra crackers for the cheese the whole experience was great. They even ordered a taxi for us to get us home. Would definitely recommend.
The lovely Emma managed to squeeze us in on a very busy Saturday night, and damn am I glad she did! Service was friendly, the view stunning and the food top notch! Calamari and sesame chicken to start, followed by moules mariniere and fish chowder…never before have I had a bowl full of mussels without a single broken shell or the dreaded unopened one, until tonight. The price is really reasonable too!
Very poor frozen bought in chips. Tasteless and bland. Not freshly made chips. As you would expect from your average British chip shop. Awful undercooked batter on the fish....a thick gloopy layer of gunky white raw batter mix. The fish fryer needs a retrain...he obviously doesn't know how to cook his products....or maybe he doesn't care.

Fish cod tasteless, I always ask for lightly battered. Fish was dry ... when they came to put chips in tray, I wish I had cancelled the order, who in their rights would own a chippy and present frozen chips that puts a badname on the chippies that take pride in their product that they are selling ...Will not eat there ever again
We went for a fish and chips and it said on the board “if you have any allergies or intolerances please left staff know”, we advised that we have a coeliac and the lady behind the counter advised “we can’t serve you” it was rather embarrassing as there was a queue behind and the overall service was rude.
Fitted us in for a quick table with no reservation on a busy Monday night in September. Food was great but service was exceptional. Our waitress, Jess, was bubbly, friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return
What always stands out immediately is that the staff are just so friendly always smiling. (It was the same 12 months ago too). Service is great. Most tables offer a great view of the bay/harbour/sea. Thank you!

Called in without reservation, and they accommodated us with no fuss. Great food, friendly service and the most terrific view. Highly recommend.
