I came here for the first time with a friend and I liked it a lot! There is a VERY large menu with a wide range of selections and kinds of sandwiches so there is something for everyone to eat. I had the tomatina sandwich and I loved my mozzarella. It was real cheese and wasn't rock hard or anything like that. The sandwich portions are very fair and large, half a sandwich could be enough for most people I feel like. I finished the whole thing and my stomach was very full. The service was quick and efficient, however, lacking in courtesy or kindness - there were no smiles, welcome greetings, or well wishes. While the food is the most important factor, I do appreciate when employees seem happy to serve customers. The atmosphere was simple, which was fine, but the loud music inside was quite bothersome. Not every customer will appreciate the music taste of the staff or owner, so having the volume too high is not ideal. This restaurant is small with indoor and outdoor dining options. The staff was friendly but slow - even with 3 cooks, my meal took 20 minutes to arrive after I arrived at 11:30. The restaurant was very warm inside. I ordered the Cuban sandwich, which was good but could have used more pickles and mustard to balance out the rich flavors. The meat was tasty but not very hot. Overall, it was a decent sandwich, especially with the sauce, but it did not quite meet the standards of a true Cuban sandwich. It was a bit on the pricey side but worth another try.
The restaurant was quite grimy and unclean. I found that the staff had a lack of knowledge about their menu when I inquired about the Vegan Sandwich. They did not wear gloves and I observed them touching their faces and hair. They even came from the dirty back area without washing their hands to handle my sandwich, with different people constantly touching and preparing it. The food was overpriced and tasted mediocre. I ordered the Tomatina Panini and Red Velvet Latte (blended). It was delicious and the sandwich was really refreshing! The coffee was lightly sweet, not too strong, and hit the spot on a hot day. Its a little pricey, but if youre feeling a little bourgeois, give it a try!
