Had a lovely Sunday dinner here on Father's Day, and could not fault anything, the staff offer a wonderful service and are very friendly, thank you to Cath I think that is what the lady was called for your kindness with my three Grandsons, We were the noisy ones! myself my Husband will certainly be visiting again.

Lovely welcoming hotel. Food was fantastic and lots of lounge and different seating areas etc to enjoy a glass of wine. Tea and scones on arrival thanks to the groupon deal we got, which were delicious. What a lovely get away for our 2nd wedding anniversary Would highly recommend this tranquil setting.

Just returned home after a fantastic 2 days stay. We had tea and scones, which were warm, on arrival. A lovely room which was at the side of the hotel looking down the road. Amazing food and friendly staff. A little gem in the lakes and cannot wait to return.

Warm welcome from the staff and delighted to see cosy fires after a blustery cold day. Our lunch was hearty but had delicate flavours, I loved the tarragon in the chicken sandwich. Thoroughly recommend.

Just had a brilliant stay at The Borrowdale!. The room, location, food, service and staff were fantastic. Would definitely recommend it. Will be back very soon.. Thank you!
