Blown away. It 's been a while to write an excellent review for a restaurant in Greater Manchester. Food was excellent, steak and hanging kebabs. Desserts, the sharing cookie dough, was amazing. Cocktails were also very good. Very impressed with the botanist cocktail. Couple of negatives, steak didn 't come with the onion rings. The pitta bread was rock hard and the kids menu forgot the cucumber dips. However, the issue was dealt with straight away and they came through quickly. Usually I wouldn 't give a 5 star because of those issues, but the food and drink and the way it was dealt with was fantastic.
I have been to this restaurant for drinks before, but I have never eaten here. After working for 10 hours straight, I decided to give it a try as I thought it was the best option in Media City. Unfortunately, most of the options on the menu seemed disappointing. I decided to try their burger, but I was disappointed to find that the bun was cold and the filling was not satisfying. I also had one and a half pints of beer, and my bill came out to be over 30 pounds. Overall, I was shocked by the high price and the mediocre quality of the food.
We had booked to eat here in December 2024 as we have tickets for the theatre. I have just received a email cancelling our booking. I rang to ask why and have been told they have now hired the whole venue out and it will make them loads of money. At the very least a telephone call rather than an email would have been nice. This is very poor customer care.
