a warm welcome, but a very strong smell of fish throughout the building. it had a nice warm, cozy feeling with a relaxing atmosphere. service was good and friendly. the baked cader was very tasty with great garlic gloves in it, the brot it...served was warm fresh and delicious. for the net I had the Steak Piee, which was well presented and very tasty. the bark was tender and tasteful, it came with green beans, carrots and a pot of clobig chips. for me the gravur she pampered, as she was extremely salty, thanks to the small amount she was served only and the rest was in a gravy boat that allowed me to enjoy the aromas of delicious cake and vegetables. Went on a Thursday night and as we expected at this time of the year it was quiet, but the service we received was excellent. We ordered a bottle of wine and a couple of drinks then focussed on the menu, I chose the mussels...to start and my wife chose the chicken The food was excellent. Loads of mussels and a chunk of fresh bread and the chicken starter was great. Main courses were a feast of beef. Steak n ale pie with a creamy mash and boeuf bourguignon in a rich sauce. The pie was crammed full of meat and the beef melted in the mouth. All in all it was a fantastic evening of good food, well prepared and finely cooked. 1704/2022 visited this beautiful pub a few times now and as always eating was excellent, but at this opportunity the table service let her down. everything in order until the plates were deleted after the main. just left wait for the sweet menu until we asked 15/20 minutes. after the order we waited for half an hour, then I asked about the bill and canceled the sweet. No excuse offered or even polite entertainment. no apologies for the pub being busy, because at this time it was quiet with only 2/3 tables with meals.

Popped in for a quick drink while driving past. Had a Derby Brewing real ale and noticed someone on the next table doing the same while eating some chips. Decided to order some as a snack and they were the best pub chips I've had...in a long time! Will definitely be back for some of those! We sat outside on a multi-level raised decking area in the sunshine. Great ambience and clientele. Staff were friendly and there were chickens in the carpark! Réservez une table maintenant

Eat out regularly called in at the Bull for first visit,food quality 100% unfortunately the portion size did not match that,having both our main meals served and to.be fair the portion sizes were childs size portions and left very disappointed and hungry and a totally...fare and honest review given and will not call again as portions sizes were disappointing 14.95 for a childs size portion

We have been here a couple of times recently and it has been very good on both occasions. Two real ales, good choice of food and good service. On the last visit they had power issues but still had the full menu and brought 10...meals out at the same time. All the walking group we were with thoroughly enjoyed it. Will return again.

Definitely worth a visit here! The pub is lovely and cosy, the staff (and regulars) are lovely and welcoming and the food is top notch! Delicious, high-quality food for an amazing price and a great choice of drinks at the bar as well. Really felt...comfortable and looked after here very much recommend!

Went for Sunday lunch having moved nearby recently. Roast beef was absolutely fabulous, great flavour, good size portion. Mrs had Nut Roast, again she enjoyed it. Totally recommend this place. Only downside is there is no customer WiFi I was told. A bit weird in...2021 they need to address that. Réservez une table maintenant

we have arrived last weekend for lunch. eating was nice and the staff really friendly. that was a break for me. my oma took me in the early 70s for garnelensalate.

beautiful Sunday lunch great food and service! would recommend for a great experience. some of the best bratbeef around and beautiful gloomy.
