The Cafe At National Coal Mining Museum For England

We came on sunday for lunch after our trip down the mine. We did enjoy the food that was available but there wasnt the largest of choices. The kids sandwich boxes are ok, but not the greatest of hot choices. of us wanted to...try the giant sausage Yorkshire pudding but as you only surply onion gravy she changed her mind and just had a sausage sandwich. Maybe having a choice of gravy without the onions would be an idea in the future for people who don't like the taste of onions? We also had the brownie and it wasnt like a brownie, it was like it hadn't been baked enough and was a bit like plasticine on the bottom, we couldn't wat it all. All in all it was ok, but if we visit the mining museum...

came with my partner for brunch was a little disappointed with the base menu if they want a speck or sausage sandwich, which they for them only other things they do is a jacket kartoffel and chips or cold sandwiches prepacked I expected some nice. yorkshire farewell mainly with a cook there, but unfortunately it wasn't as if I thought it would be

This cafe is a breath of fresh air for an "attraction" establishment. The staff is very friendly and efficient, the food selection is good with excellent quality and generous portion sizes. The place is clean and well-designed. The prices are not expensive. We had lunch and drinks and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We travelled nearly an hour to get to the museum but it was worth it just to eat at the cafe here. The food all looked fantastic. The home-cooked steak and ale pie and fresh vegetables was delicious. I would highly recommend this. The cakes...looked fabulous too. Réservez une table maintenant

The food is sourced locally. It was a nice sized portion and was hot. The service was quick and the staff all wore big smiles, another bonus.kids meals come in a box and have a wide choice.

The kids had a children's meal deal. A good choice of items for them. Adults all chose a hot meal, meat pie with chips and veg was very tasty. Not too badly priced and good quality Réservez une table maintenant
