Another lovely lunch at The Cat! Good food as always, cod with curry sauce was delicious as was the pork belly, steak ale pie, caesar salad, the hardest part is deciding what to have! Lovely friendly staff who make you feel so welcome and never rush you to finish. Thank you all at The Cat, see you again soon.

This is our favorite place! The only drawback was the ambiance; it was a bit chilly where we were sitting, although the weather outside was quite unpleasant. Additionally, a rather loud group at a nearby table didn’t help the situation. If they weren’t there, the experience would have been perfect!

The starter (chicken with wild mushrooms) and the main from the specials board (plaice) were exceptional. The dessert (crumble) was OK but didn't have the wow factor of the first two courses. Could not fault the service. Will definitely be back.

We keep coming back to the Cat because the food is consistently outstanding. We've never had a disappointing meal there. It truly deserves a five-star rating in my review.
