Chatterbox is, without a doubt, the best bar in the world! We've been visiting for years, and it consistently impresses us. The service is top-notch, the drinks are fantastic, and the food is simply incredible! Some must-tries include the deviled eggs, specialty soup, tacos, loaded fries, and nachos topped with BBQ pulled pork—there's just so much to choose from. The owners are very involved and genuinely friendly. We always look forward to seeing Becca; she is absolutely the best! The entire staff is wonderful, including Mari, Lizzie, and Felicia. Despite the restaurant being quite busy and the kitchen appearing overwhelmed, there were some simple errors that led three couples to choose not to return. On the bright side, our server was excellent and worked hard despite the challenges. We recognize that they might be short-staffed, but it may be better to avoid seating all tables when they cannot manage it effectively. They did compensate us for our drinks and the missing food, and even offered us a complimentary slice of pie with ice cream. However, these gestures unfortunately did not alleviate our overall disappointing experience.
The kid's meal was very small, and the side of grapes was inedible. The mac and cheese special was good, but at $25, it felt overpriced. On the other hand, the side salad that accompanied my sandwich was excellent—much larger than I expected and made with high-quality ingredients, filled with veggies rather than just the standard iceberg lettuce and a few tomatoes that you often find elsewhere. We dined on the patio, which had a pleasant atmosphere, making the fact that we were there for over two hours a bit easier to bear. I just wish the staff had been more upfront about the wait times.
Everything about this restaurant was perfect. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and lively. We brought our three golden retrievers with us, and everyone came out to pet them. We enjoyed sitting on the heated patio on a gorgeous fall Saturday. The food was outstanding! My husband and I ordered a variety of dishes to share and try, and everything was delicious. Their burgers are fantastic, and those deviled eggs were simply amazing! You can really tell that many of their items are homemade. We will definitely be returning! We absolutely loved this place! We visited during the apple festival and really enjoyed the outdoor patio. The fish and chips we had, along with the fries, were delicious and contributed to a wonderful day. I highly recommend this place! Just be aware that this lovely array of shops and restaurants can become quite busy, especially on weekends. Bring a positive attitude and a little patience, and remember to be kind to the hardworking staff who serve you.
This restaurant is quite charming. They have a lovely patio where you can enjoy a delightful outdoor lunch. We dined there after attending the apple festival, so I'm not certain whether the limited menu is available year-round or just for the event. Regardless, the food was very tasty. The selection was somewhat limited and a bit on the expensive side, but overall, it was a positive experience.
I had the worst fish and chips I've ever experienced—the fish and the batter were both rubbery and tough. I also ordered fries instead of the usual potato chips, but that didn't enhance the meal either. On the bright side, the staff was outstanding; they were friendly and attentive during my visit. The patio is nice and spacious, equipped with umbrellas for shade. We received excellent service from Millicent, who was friendly and attentive. The three-taco special on Tuesday for just $9 is a fantastic deal. I also had the Beehive Cheddarburger, which was delicious and generously sized, accompanied by loaded fries. I'll definitely be back!
