If it could leave zero stars I would. Booked a table for Sunday dinner with three of us, firstly “greeted” after 10 minutes stood around. If you could call it a greeting, asked if we had a table booked. After repeating my name twice he said “conservatory?” And we were taken to the back of the empty restaurant. After being shown our table the young lad threw our menus to us and walked away, without asking what drinks we would like. Roll on 20 minutes later and no sign of competent staff I go to the bar and ask if it would be easier to order on the QR code as we are still waiting to be served. Great upmarket pub, looks great from the outside as well. Good selection of food on the menu with a different range of meals from your box standard pub grub. Is a bit pricey however the quality of the food is worth it. Parking: Big car park with plenty of spaces. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to access the entrance spacious inside. We had booked a table for 6.30pm fur 2, git seated straight away asked if we wanted to order drinks whilst we looked at the menu the only disappointment was they didn't have any of the pate left I had ordered for my starter so had to choose something else other than that our visit was great. As always, couldn't fault a thing. Restaurant was FULL, bar area was brimming, but not once did any staff member look or behave stressed or rushed....all had big smiles throughout and nothing was too much trouble. A very well oiled machine. Price per person: £100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Excellent Sunday lunch for four including drinks, mains, two desserts and a coffee for under £100 (well £99.15 actually plus a tip). Great value nowadays. Food was great and service excellent. Not local to us but visit the area occasionally and will definitely return. Price per person: £20–30

Lovely and warm, l suffer with reynards and my hands were white with cold. So pleased that l could warm them on the radiators. Snug and comfy seating area. Staff busy but friendly . Food delicious Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

One of our regular dining spots. The food is excellent, with a diverse selection to cater to most tastes. The establishment also features a variety of authentic ales that are well-maintained to a high standard.
