We've been camping here for the past three years, but this was my first visit to the restaurant. We arrived early, around 3:30, since we hadn't had lunch and didn't feel like grilling. Our waitress, Gloria, was very friendly and made excellent recommendations from the menu. We started with the fried green tomatoes, which were delicious. My husband ordered the fried grouper sandwich and absolutely loved it. I had the fresh arugula salad topped with grilled salmon, which was outstanding—the salmon was incredibly fresh. We will definitely return on our next visit!
The food was quite disappointing. The waffles were as hard as rocks, and some burners weren't on, leaving the food cold. The beef was tough; the server served us a slice that had been sitting under a heat lamp and was lacking moisture. The only positive aspect of our visit was our server, Gloria, who was quick to address any issues we had with the food. The ambiance and view were nice, but I won't be choosing the Commons for special occasions like Mother's Day again.
They call their sauce "come back sauce" (because it's so delicious you'll want to return), and honestly, they should apply that nickname to their hospitality and service as well. Our server, Gloria, was one of the best waitresses I've ever had. We both ordered the grouper sandwich, and I had sweet peach tea. Everything was excellently prepared, and the portion sizes were generous. We will definitely make a point to return the next time we're in the area.
This is a fantastic spot to watch the sunset! The outdoor area is lovely and offers a wonderful view of Stone Mountain. Alva provided exceptional service; she was attentive and handled the pressure of a busy restaurant incredibly well, especially considering there weren't enough staff members on duty. The presentation of the food was impressive, although I found the taste of the burger could be improved. Overall, the food was decent.

This restaurant exceeded all my expectations! The food was incredible—even better than I had hoped for! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the large fireplace made it a cozy spot on a chilly day. However, the highlight was definitely the staff; they were incredibly friendly and attentive! If you're in the area, this place is definitely worth a visit!
Be aware that prices tend to be higher during the holidays, as the website doesn't indicate anything about special holiday pricing. We spent $574 for a family of six, and I was surprised to find that I could’ve purchased the same premade salad from Walmart for much less. Good luck!
The Commons Restaurant is a lovely spot situated on the golf course. The chili was both flavorful and hearty, while the salad was outstanding. I added salmon, which was well-seasoned and delicious. I will definitely return during my next visit to Stone Mountain Park.
It was their first day with extended hours, and they treated us like royalty. I celebrated my birthday there, and the fried grouper, salmon, and chicken kabobs were all fantastic. The drinks were also really great. Our server did an amazing job!

This place is incredible! The food was amazing, the Stone Mountain lemonade was fantastic, and as you can see, the view is great. You definitely need to give this place a try!
The restaurant has a racist atmosphere towards Hispanic families, and the prices are too high.
