The restaurant appeared clean, and the two owners seemed friendly, especially after reading the initial review. However, when you order a sandwich, a significant part of your experience depends on the toppings you choose. It would be great if they could remember preferences like lettuce, tomato, or salt. On the positive side, the roast beef was delicious, and I'm definitely interested in returning to try some of the specials listed on the board. They also had a selection of soups.
What do I like about the country store? Everything! It's home! The owners Rick and Jim couldn't be nicer. They prices are really good. Their food is delicious and fresh. They make everything there. Our favorites are the Country Store Special hero, their tuna fish, meatballs and rice pudding!
I had an amazing Wagyu Reuben and a wonderful experience. The two staff members were attentive and friendly, making it a great place for a lunch or breakfast stop.
