I had to wait 20 minutes just to receive a menu, and then it took over 45 minutes for our food to arrive—though it likely would have taken longer if I hadn't brought it up. After waiting for 45 minutes, they still hadn't even started preparing our meals. It seems like if you're not a regular, you get ignored. Takeout orders seem to get prioritized over those of dine-in guests. We weren't even asked if we wanted drink refills until our food finally arrived. There was only one person taking orders and giving out the check, and I had to request the check myself. I wouldn't recommend going there unless you have plenty of time to spare. It felt like nearly two hours wasted.
Yum, Yum, Yum. Delicious beans with cornbread served prior to meal. I had chicken fried Chicken with cooked cabbage and onion rings. Moist chicken and perfectly breaded. Giant portions! Best Onion Rings ever! Big deep fried breaded onion rings with thick onions and crispy outer batter! Southern style cooked cabbage. Great meal, very reasonable prices and friendly attentive service. We will definitely be back. Food: 5

I had the chicken fried steak with creamed potatoes,black eye peas and cornbread. It took a while to get mt food there were 3 other tables when I got there,the food came out cold and was bland.i doughty I'll go back. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

This restaurant was amazing, but sadly, it has permanently closed. It was the top spot in the county for delicious homemade food.
