The Daily Bread Bakery Cafe

I've been going to the Daily Bread off and on for 20 years. I've gotten pretty much the same few things for all of those 20 years. I can say with great certainty that it has gone significantly downhill in the last year or so. I'm not sure if they are starting to cut corners, change recipes, or what. The Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich is flavorless, wet, and mushy. The white chicken chili literally has NO flavor...it used to have the best little bite to it. Even the iced tea went down...always old and never fresh. Last time I went, I made sure to tell my mom to remind me never to go back. It isn't what it used to be and isn't worth going back.

The dining experience was decent, not exceptional. The restaurant followed all pandemic safety precautions, but none of the customers wore masks while dining. The seating was crowded and they only accepted card payments. The prices were also quite high, costing $40 for a meal for two.

We received excellent service at this neighborhood coffee shop. We tried the Avocado toast, quiche, breakfast sandwiches, and coffee. There were plenty of seats available, but be prepared for a potentially long line.

We. Love. This. Place!! Came here on a whim for a break during a long shop day and loved every single thing we ordered. Highly recommend the brownies and the chicken and rice soup.

The breakfast sandwich is so delicious that I feel like I could eat it for eternity. After traveling around the world, this is by far my favorite breakfast sandwich.

from mai 2022 they make construction on the building, so it is very loud, but normally there is a lot of space to eat and eating is still so good
