The Duck Inn - Réservation de table

We were ecstatic to experience such a dramatic change at the Duck In. Firstly, the menu was great. Lots of options with more modern pub style food, sharing plates, healthy eats and your old favorites. There were plenty of options for those with dietary requirements VG, V, DF, GF. The service has significantly improved. Our waitress was very friendly and genuinely wanted feedback on all our meals She even checked on us part way through our meals to make sure every thing was OK. We had a table of 8 and everyone was very happy with their meals. We will definitely be back again soon.

The Duck Inn is local to us, we must have visited around 10 times so this review is an "average" of those.It has been fairly recently refurbished with a new outside decked area which has a great feel when the sun is out.The service is fine, the food is consistently good and there is an excellent choice of beers and wines.I would highly recommend the share plates, definitely a place to try if you are in the area.

We popped in there to have a drink and listen to some acoustic music and were amazed by how friendly and comfortable it is. Great staff who were very helpful and brought my Guinness over to where we were sitting when it was ready. Lovely wood fire burning and comfy leather lounges and best of all draft Guinness! We will certainly go back and probably make this our local from now on. Great atmosphere.

We sat on the decking, with dappled sunlight and enjoyed our mains. Service was good. But why oh why have the sticky date pudding and brownies been taken off the dessert menu? Change for change's sake is not always a good option, particularly with these popular choices no longer available. A rethink may be needed for the winter months. Réservez une table maintenant

We came back again with friends and could not fault the service, atmosphere or food. The garfish and goat curry were enjoyed by the other members of our group and my slow braised brisket was amazing. Served on parsnip puree with heirloom carrots, the brisket simply fell apart and was truly delicious. Compliments to the chef

came for lunch for our wedding anniversary. Enjoyed the new outside eating area. Chose from the specials menu this time and she had the duck salad and I had the duck burger. Tasty food and good service in a lovely location.

Service very good. The Gnochhi was very tasty and plenty of it. The pulled pork sliders though were not pulled apart and were chunks with lots of fat. Réservez une table maintenant

Been a few times over the years, but my last lunch was a bit ordinary. I ordered a sirloin medium, the meal went back twice say no more.

Loved the meals. Both my wife's and mine were excellent. And they had speciality be on tap. Will be back.
