You know it's good when you don't normally leave reviews but this was too good not to. I live in Cornwall and have been to a lot of fish and chips places but this is up there with the best- fresh fish and great chips. But what really makes it is these are genuinely good and friendly people. You're not just having great fish and chips but you're supporting good people and a great local business! Best chippy anywhere ever! Great food, lovely staff, perfect location and a homemade tartar sauce. You won't get better than this! So much so, we've nicknamed the place Mevachippy. They also do a battered halloumi which is spot on for a non fish eating, halloumi lover! My husband and I had the hake and plaice and it was the nicest fish and chips we've had in a very long time. Cooked to order and was so fresh and the batter wasn't greasy like many other chip shops are. The chips were delicious too. Some of the best Fish and Chips I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked cod and chips, the batter on the fish was really light and delicate.
