This restaurant is a wonderful spot right on the boardwalk in Point. There's paid parking available just behind the restaurant, as well as free street parking nearby. After scanning the QR code, be prepared for a little wait. They provide both indoor and outdoor seating, along with some counter space. The owner and staff are extremely friendly, and we were seated promptly, even on a Sunday morning. The menu features all the classic dishes at reasonable prices. During our stay at the shore, we visited this restaurant for both breakfast and lunch. The pancakes are some of the best I've ever had, and they even offer a fun Mickey Mouse shape for the kids! The eggs were cooked to perfection as well. For lunch, we enjoyed juicy burgers and hot dogs, all cooked just right. The servers were incredibly friendly, making for a pleasant dining experience. It's a fantastic beach spot for food, conveniently located right on the boardwalk.
We've consistently had wonderful experiences at the Food Shack. During our recent visit, we wanted to express our appreciation! The staff is always friendly and attentive. The breakfast is consistently delicious—my favorite is the Beach House Classic! The lunch menu has a great mix of classic favorites and unique dishes. We’re looking forward to our next visit to enjoy a delightful cup of coffee, savor some tasty food, and soak up the great atmosphere outdoors.

We stopped by for breakfast and lunch during our beach getaway, and I must say, the pancakes are the best I've ever had! They even make cute microphone mouse shapes for the kids. The eggs were cooked to perfection as well! For lunch, we savored delicious burgers and hot dogs, all prepared flawlessly. Food, service and atmosphere top notch! Delicious breakfast Cali Bowl. I even bought a really cute beach decor piece for my house. Love that they promote local artists and you can tell the hostess (she may be an owner) knows her local clients the way she speaks to them. Having worked in restaurants, you can always spot a well run establishment. Kid-friendly as well... Great find, you won't be disappointed.
My family and I are huge fans of this restaurant! The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The staff is exceptionally friendly. For locals and summer beachgoers, they provide on-site lockers for storing chairs and umbrellas, which is a great convenience. This family-owned establishment truly shines among the corporate chains along the boardwalk, and I will definitely keep supporting them!
The BLT was the best I've ever had seriously. The thick cut bacon was outrageously good, obviously the expensive stuff. And the tomatoes were perfectly ripe and not bland. 10/10 sandwich. Love the location at the end of the boardwalk. Sit on the boardwalk or inside in the shade. There are benches and rocking chairs on the boardwalk. Fast service, super friendly staff. Awesome.

The waiter passed by our table about 10 times and didn't ask if we needed anything, we were there for an hour and a half, when it only took us 30 mins to eat. But trying to get someone's attention for the check was impossible. Good food , good atmosphere, just needs better service. They were nice people, just need to pay better attention to the customers
The food was good when we got our food. It took a long time to get pancakes. The staff was friendly and attentive. Wait time was high for the food ordered.
