Coming from America the sound of a Carvery was interesting. Back home there are no places left that cut beef in front of you. The staff was very friendly and made us feel at home right away. This is a locals restaurant and pub. Vegetables are local sourced and my wife really liked that they were not over cooked. Having traveled recently in several large cities, the 12 pound, 3 course meal was an absolute bargain. The taste of the food was also a very refreshing change compared to normal bland restaurant food. It is not a fancy place but neither am I. I used to frequent this restaurant when staying in Chaddesley and was pleasantly surprised by the good value and delicious hot food they served. I recently brought two friends for a meal on our way back home and we were impressed by their weekly carvery option. For just £12.00 each, we enjoyed a 3-course meal, with the choice of either the carvery or items from the main menu. The carvery was particularly delicious, served on hot plates and with friendly staff. The restaurant was bustling with activity and their marketing strategy was impressive. This was my first time visiting this restaurant. My grandma absolutely loved it and even asked when we could go back again! I, on the other hand, thought it was just okay. The menu had a decent variety of options and the price for a three-course meal was very reasonable at just £12. The service was friendly, but it seemed like there weren't enough staff members for the number of customers. The brie was the standout dish, it was absolutely delicious. However, I found the pasta and blondie to be average, although they were probably good considering the price. I plan on giving this restaurant another try and will opt for the carvery next time, but I'm not completely sold on it just yet.

Went in for a Sunday carvery meat was lovely veg ok potatoes a problem not everyone wants garlic potatoes on a Sunday lunch need a choice of boiled. Crumble and custard the custard came in a jar that I'm sure should be for milk for coffee we poured the custard on the desert spoon and there was one full spoon full !! Cobwebs on shelving and wood panelling and the window blinds are filthy with thick dust not inspiring when eating . The whole place could do with a bit of TLC Réservez une table maintenant

We were a group of 27 people and had pre-booked our arrival having chosen the carvery option. Tables were prepared ready for us and all went very smoothly. We had a particular time to leave and this was taken on board. The meat and vegetables in the carvery were excellent but the vegetarian pie was quite poor. The people who had a dessert said it was absolutely delicious. The food was terrific value and I would recommend The Fox Inn

Tonight was our first visit, and certainly won't be our last. The food was amazing along with the service. Fantastic value for money would highly recommend...Compliments to the chef too...Thank you to Zoe, Kelly chloe..(hope I've got the names correct) for looking after us...Their customer service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble.Looking forward to seeing you again soon...

The food was alright, but I was not given the opportunity to choose what I wanted with my pie, mash, or chips. The woman named Lyn was not very friendly; after we looked at the menu, she came to the table and bluntly asked what we wanted. I felt put off by her attitude and won't be returning. My friend, who had booked the restaurant for a birthday meal, also felt uncomfortable.

I was very conflicted about leaving a review, because I always want to be able to get a table! Had an incredible lamb rump main, also great starter and pudding, but the lamb dish was absolutely amazing! The service was brilliant, friendly and efficient, I really couldn’t have enjoyed my visit more. I’ve already rebooked Réservez une table maintenant

Was disappointed we have been here several times but found there wasn't much choice of vegetables only roast or garlic potatos would have liked mash .The onion soup was very salty

Great meal. Lovely mushroom starter, nice deconstructed pie and dessert. And all for £12. Service was very good. really enjoyed my meal and evening as did others in the party.
