Overcooked stale fatty food. Dined in Wednesday. We ordered vegetarian moussaka and mixed grill. We had to send grill back to the kitchen as it was rubbery and stale. The waitress said they do it on an actual grill, she then brought a replacement. It was not the grilled meat!!! The only difference was that this was hot. previous one was tepid) That AARP meat never saw the grill. It felt more like a gyro. Utterly over-SALTED, overcooked, oozing with fat. moussaka was not better: heavy, greasy, disgusting. They used to have a decent food a few years ago, but now it’s inedible. Service was fine, nice waitress.

It was a turn off when we walked in Juan who greeted us set the tone. He gave us a hard time from the beginning but our waiter was nice. The Taramasala was good but the pita was limp. The moussaka was good but they didn't even give lemon potatoes with it. The salad was just mainly lettuce. For the price it wasn't worth it to be honest.

Had a wonderful lunch at The Greek Kitchen. Delicious food, especially the grilled calamari and the chicken souvlaki. Server Juan deserves high praise knowledgeable, attentive, and warm. Highly recommend!!!

The food was authentic and perfect exactly as we had it in Athens. I can't say any more than that. It was just incredible!
