The Grill At Riverside

Our group of five visited The Grill at Riverside for the first time on Father's Day, and while our experience wasn't flawless, I highly recommend it. We waited for over 30 minutes for our meals, but the management noticed and came over to apologize and rectify the situation. When our meals finally arrived, they looked great and tasted even better. We used to be huge fans of LT Bar & Grill, so we were a bit worried when we learned about the management change. The good news for other fans is that, aside from the dreadful new name and logo, everything else feels pretty familiar. The menu is shorter, but many of our favorite dishes are still being served. The cocktail menu has also been updated, and unfortunately, my favorite mezcal Southside is no longer available. However, the staff remains exceptional, and the overall dining experience is still enjoyable.

Is this restaurant closed? We've always loved eating here and have never had a disappointing meal. However, on our last three visits, it appeared to be closed. We couldn't make a reservation, and the phone line was perpetually busy. It would be such a shame if it's permanently closed, as everything on the menu was delightful. The grilled octopus is my favorite. The branzino is always cooked to perfection. Although I love Hudson Yards, this is next best thing because you have parking. The hostess was gracious and that is what it means when you walk into an establishment. You want someone at the door who is inviting. The wait at the bar was a bit long which may mean they need some help. I love the food so it is worth the wait.

We had a lovely evening outdoors. The steak was superb, and the atmosphere was charming. The service was also very attentive.

Overall, the meal was quite enjoyable. However, I found the poke dish to be somewhat disappointing given its price.
