A great place to go for generous proportions and hearty tucker. It's a great local pub / sports bar and serves up the kind of comfort food you would expect from such an establishment. Dine from the buffet or order al a carte in the bistro, they are famous for their schnitzel! They have daily specials which are great value too. Sunday roast for lunch is one of my favourites. Best of all for parents, there is an awesome kids room with playstations and even a gym for them to burn off energy! Overall it's a well thought out establishment with good food and entertainment.
Out to dinner. Got there early, first to order. Fish for hubby and a medium eye fillet for me. 40 minutes later meals finally arrived. Little fish and the "pièce de résistance"....Eye fillet with a 'medium' flag stuck into it...... how they managed to plant it in there I really don't know, the poor steak had been well and truly cooked/dehydrated!Staff was great when I complained and asked for my money back, no problems with that. Maybe try somewhere else if you can.
Great first impression, the place was lovely and clean. As it was my first time here, I didn’t realise we had to line up at the bar to order so ended up waiting at the table for someone to come to take the order. Would have been nice if the staff had advised me this after taking me to my table. Before I realised this myself, the queue was already quite long, a bit disappointing. Ordered steak
I have lived locally to The Grove for 25years. We have often gone here for dinner over the years. The food is always nice. I myself usually go for the steak. Meals usually come out within a decent time frame. The service is always friendly and helpful. The Grove has a great atmosphere, its a great place to go and watch the State Of Origin or just have a few drinks on a Fri/Sat night.

The food at this restaurant is delicious, and the customer service is exceptional. Pauline, in particular, is amazing. She greets you like a friend and makes you feel very welcome. We come here for dinner every week, and thanks to Pauline, we plan to continue this tradition. Management, you are lucky to have such a gem of an employee like her.
We called into The Grove for lunch and went with the $10 lunch special menu. We were all very impressed with the food, portion size and quality. Great value for money, I would definitely do it again. The only downside was lack of staff which made the service experience very ordinary.
My wife and I dined at this hotel for two nights. We found the meals very good and well priced. It may pay to book on some nights as it was busy when we got there on a Friday and Saturday night. Otherwise all was good.
We don't come here often. The meals were very good, with no complaints about service. My only complaint is their gaming room was not a good experience for me.

Nice and friendly atmosphere close to home which makes the Grove a very handy place for dinner and drinks with friend, great live music on the week ends
Value for money if you order food at the bar, great service and good atmosphere. Plenty of pokies to choose from which is in its own area.
