Das "The Hero of Waterloo" liegt etwas vom Hafen weg, im Viertel "The Rocks". Es hat den Charm eines irischen Pubs, was nicht zuletzt auch daran liegt, das Guiness auf der Getränkekarte angeboten wird.Es werden Tapas wie Wedge Potatoes oder Chicken Wings angeboten, aber es gibt auch eine richtige Speisekarte mit Vorspeisen, Hauptgängen und Nachtisch.Wie in irischen Pubs üblich, bestellt man an der Theke. Getränke nimmt man direkt zum Platz mit, Speisen werden an den Tisch gebracht.Bei unserem Besuch spielte eine Live-Band, was dazu führte, dass es doch sehr laut war.Ansonsten ist die Athmosphäre aber toll.
Un bon repas pour un déjeuner avec vendredi. Lord Nelson Hotel a malheureusement été réservé, le héros de la Waterloo a dû essayer de remplir mes attentes élevées - certaines pourraient dire qu'elles ont été condamnées du début à l'échec. Douleur Douleur Un intérieur fabuleux et un personnel invitant. J'ai commandé le poisson et les copeaux, qui était en moyenne, les copeaux étaient définitivement sous pair, les puces sont importantes pour faire ou rompre pour moi. Pas de facteur wow et probablement pas de retour, mais j'ai entendu dire que cet endroit a une grande ambiance un vendredi ou samedi soir.
Very tired on our first night in town we stopped in for an early dinner. The pub itself is beautiful and worth the stop. The food was very good, I had fish and chips my wife the grilled barramundi. The service was good and the beer couldn't have been better. It's just around the corner from where we're staying, so you can bet I'll be back.
Les mains de la pire nourriture que j'ai mangée. La nourriture a duré très longtemps pour le découvrir, et quand il faisait froid, il faisait froid et 17 $ pour un hamburger de poulet, j'attends beaucoup plus qu'un petit morceau de poulet avec une demi-pièce de tomates sur un rouleau avec un avocat brun. Ne mangerais plus jamais ici.
