Called up to see if they had kosher items. The lady on the phone was really rude and made like a gawk before saying they had no kosher items. I asked if they serve only pork. She said yes with out hesitation. I asked if they served beef like brisket. And she became confused and had someone else tell her they had beef but not brisket. My friend and I were looking to place a very large order (for kosher and non kosher items)and from this phone experience alone I think I'll NEVER go to the hickory hog.
I ordered online and they charged my card through bring me that when I went to pick up my food they wanted me to pay again watch out for these people something very shady about that stick with doordash restaurants they are honest
Dried out ribs, moldy bread on the burger, burnt chicken wrap, discolored cole slaw..…should I go on? I don’t know what’s happened to this place but I just spent $100 for a bag full of reheated, old food. Depressing……
Still the best barbecue on the Jersey Shore! The ribs are amazing, and the barbecue steak tips are delicious. Don't miss the onion loaf and corn fritters either. If you love great barbecue, you won't be disappointed!

I enjoyed a full rack of amazing baby back ribs that practically fell off the bone. I highly recommend trying them instead of their local competitor. I will definitely be back!
This is a fantastic BBQ spot! I highly recommend it, especially if you enjoy delicious and tender ribs. The atmosphere is also quite peaceful.

The best ribs in New Jersey—it's not even a close competition. The service is excellent, and the food is outstanding.
