We phoned to make a reservation for Sunday lunch. The lady on the phone most hpful and took an advanced order for our meals. We arrived got a drink from a very friendly me.ber of staff who told us where our table was. The food was tasty, gravy gorgeous, veg cooked not crunchy and the meat was lovely. The meal was hot and tasty we will go back definitely. Parking: Limited spaces but we parked ok Price per person: £1–10

We visited the area and as a family group, enjoyed a pleasant mid week lunch at the pub. My 2 yr old grand daughter enjoyed the play equipment.Very friendly staff. Meal very good value. Shame pies appeared to have been heated in microwave, but nice served with green veggies. Halloumi in my salad was soft and good quality. Chips cooked nicely. Overall, would recommend

Excellent Sunday roast and always feel welcome .Freshly cooked vegetables and moist chicken gravy great too .Extra gravy was given to a great meal.worth a drive on a Sunday best to book .The dog is welcome too Thanks to all the staff we will be back for more !!

Staff are always friendly. We were there to watch a band and the atmosphere was excellent. We didn't eat yesterday but have in the past. Excellent value for money. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
