I fully understand that vegetarians usually do not choose Humble Toast for dinner... However, if you have a house Veggie Burger on the menu, the house is made with many ingredients to count as you serve a $17 veggie burger that came out of a box. The frits of Queen Anne and Knish were delicious and our daughters enjoyed their burgers. But my wife and I, both vegetarian, were extremely disappointed and the businessbought veggie patties spoiled our experience. If you do not have the goods, remove the item from the menu!
I ordered the pastrami sandwich. The meat was good but there was barely any sourkraut on the sandwich and it was only on one bite of it and not spread out. Additionally, there was wayyy too much whole grain mustard. Also, we ordered the humble fries (loaded fries? which were pretty good but there was barely any sauce on them I feel like this could have been executed better for the pricing. For these reasons along with the crowding, I probably won't be back soon.
We went for a nice family dinner for my husband's birthday, but it turned into a Vermishap after the other. The service was terrible. The food was burned. The steak came without a steak knife. Buns flew. If we had gone to the well, we would have got water faster. The birthday dessert never came and we were left with a bunch of plates on our table because nobody cleaned it. The focus of the personnel was on their takeover orders.
It was very crowded, but the whole food really came out fast. Everyone was happy with their entrees (Cubno sandwich, Poke bowl, Burger and Buffalo chicken pack). Queen Anne fries appetizer was delicious and the French Macarons were gone in a minute. If I lived in Teaneck, I would often go.

Some of my favorite sandwiches on the planet are here, including Salino's Hoagie. The turkey bakon (kosher, of course) wrap sounds boring but it's the best wrap you'll ever have. Just don't order a gluten-free bun, they're hard as rocks.
This was not our first time here and Humble Toast never disappoints. Food is outstanding and consistent, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Everyone loves it when we go and we definitely will return!
Service was great and so was the food! The waitress was very helpful in helping us modifying our orders to our liking. Although you were very busy-we got our order promptly. Everything was delicious!
