This is my second visit to the Jolly Huntsman, the room was spacious and had all I needed for my brief stay. This time I ate there and the wild mushroom risotto with parmesan crisp was excellent just the right balance and a good portion. I was so impressed I could not resist the apple and pear crumble with cinnamon custard yum, yum. Very pleasant and the host was considerate as were the rest of the staff. I would recommend you try the pub and the food and a good place to stay nice combination of local village and wider base to explore from. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
We had a really good family gathering at the Jolly Huntsman for my birthday. From the moment of the original enquiry to the end of our visit, the staff we very friendly, helpful and efficient. They were very accommodating of our small children and put us in a little area slightly separated from the main bar which gave them small to move around and play on the floor without getting in anyone else's way. The food was very good; delicious, plentiful and hot. We are likely to visit again and are happy to recommend it to others.
