June 22, 2017.. Why I gave it a 5* star.. it was a momentous occasion for my nephew and niece from Australia, it was their 10th wedding anniversary and their birthdays at the same day so we booked a space at Juniper base on all the reviews. Well, it was as the reviews said.. from the service we received, the pleasant atmosphere, the host at the front for his brilliant idea of a surprise birthday and anniversary wish display on plates, and the food!!!! melt in your mouth... for its quaintness .. the quality sure is above and beyond .. on top of that.. the spectacular view of the mountains and sunset.. it's our new discovery and will definitely share with everyone.
Bike rentals were incredibly affordable at just $10 per day, making it much cheaper than other hotels or rental options in town. It only took us a quick five-minute bike ride to reach town, which was very convenient. The hotel itself and the views are absolutely stunning! We enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the bistro, and the food was among the best we’ve had. I had the stuffed French toast for breakfast, which was delicious, and for dinner, I tried the lingcod, which was equally impressive. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with this hotel.
Beautiful hotel! Wish we had stayed here. We went to breakfast and it was delicious. If you’re in Banff, this is a must to try out for breakfast. The views are spectacular and the service is impeccable. It’s secluded and surrounded by nature. I especially liked getting away from the hubbub of the town. But it’s close enough to the town if you need to. There is also free WiFi and free parking! I’m going to stay here next time!
There is nothing I would change about our six day stay at the Juniper. The location is perfect distance from everything and it made a great home base to travel from and explore. The staff is so kind, the suite is huge and the fireplace so cozy — the view is incredible and the food is some of the finest meals we’ve ever eaten with such complex and bright flavor combinations. Absolutely great place, super excellent food. Super team. Had breakfast there (very nice team!! and decided to come back for dinner also. Were served by André Ann and colleagues. Had the chance to meet the chef and say thank you for the excellent dinner we had. Enjoyed our stay visiting Banff. Thank you very much. Will definitely come back, promised!
You can never go wrong with the food at this place! Most upscale restaurants in Alberta can't compete with the chef at Juniper Bistro. The food here is truly exceptional—120% the best, thanks to the incredible chef in the kitchen. I may not know the chef personally, but the quality of the food speaks for itself!
