We are new to the community and have been very pleased with the level of care and attention for our father in memory care. The staff is accommodating in every way, for example serving my father the foods he especially enjoys. His caretakers are well-trained in dementia and value dignity and purpose for the residents. One of my father's caretakers, Martha, has spent extra time to keep us up-to-date on my father's activities, mood, and needs; she shares photos and stories and makes herself available to us as needed. The staff is well supported by an administration that is approachable. Amber and Leandra have patiently guided us through the start of this journey. Clearly those who work at the Kensington enjoy their jobs and support each other. We are thankful to have found this home for our father.
The nurses are great, but the check in lady was the worst. my advice for the administration is fired, whoever was on Sunday at 11 o'clock 8/14. If I want to see my dying grandmother, I don't want to be harassed. second, one of her coworkers gave my grandmother together a month ago, so every intention they let me follow for 30 minutes, I expect the nurses to have twice as hard rules for their intention. but this is not the case and is 100,% why one of their employees gave my grandmother covid.
I am the home administration of the 3rd generation in northern California. so I can say, place looks great, smells great, great activities. but special food prep tasteless. Prescriptions are delivered to false person. bed bug log not existent. lack of communication between layers with kovid. I am appalized for half a million a year, that is spent, that is lacking care is dissatisfied.
