Called here while on a circular walk for refreshments. Had a roast baguette and a pint of Wainwright's. Baguette with beef was served with a couple of roasties, two stuffing balls, gravy and horseradish simply delicious! Both food and beer was sensibly priced. This is a charming pub located by the canal. It's dog-friendly and the locals and bar staff are very welcoming. The prices are excellent as well. This pub is truly a hidden gem and definitely worth a visit. Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Réservez une table maintenant

I recently went on a bike ride and stopped for a pint and a prawn baguette. It was a fantastic snack, and the pint was equally great. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Price per person: £10–20. Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5.
