On a recent trip to Busselton, we stopped off at the Old Cheddar Cheese Factory and sampled their cheeses. The lady who was serving offered us 250gm blocks of cheddar and pickle onion cheese (in Aldi packaging) for $5, saying it was a discounted price because her boss had told her to sell some excess stock of the cheese they had started to sell through Aldi stores. We ended up spending about $20 in cheese, thinking that we were getting a good price, buying one of their ‘special packages’ and the discounted Aldi cheese. Arrived at the restaurant and found the parking lot almost empty. The tasting room was not being attended to. I enjoyed trying the displayed cheeses, especially the chili cheddar which had a spicy kick. I recommend sticking to single flavor cheeses as the ones with two flavors were not well balanced, with one flavor overpowering the other. The service was finally friendly. We decided to order a coffee, but it was a bit of a disappointment. It was very strong, similar to Turkish coffee, even though it was made from a barista-style coffee machine. There were a lot of grounds at the bottom of the cup.
Why I never found this place before I will never no. Beautiful range of cheeses in all different styles, favours and sizes. Customer services ,product knowledge and the place was clean and inviting. We left with a warm fuzzy feeling that we got valve for money and contentment. We will return when we are here again.
have made trips to Busselton over 20 years but had never stopped at this place. Decided to make a stop this time and was well rewarded with marvellous cheese made on site and providing employment to the locals. Will make sure that we will stop by here every trip as local industry requires all our support.

What amazing service. A smile, conversation and great knowledge of the cheese. Couldn't ask for anymore.The cheese was amazing (a good price too!) and highly recommend a stop here. They have a cafe area for anyone who wants to stop for a lunch. What a beautiful place.
Best cheese factory by far and have been to plenty. Friendly staff. Better signage to find it from both directions would be good. The cheeses were great, took a lot home. Had a platter for two and couldn't eat all of it. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
Got there too late for any lunch, but we did a "cheese tasting" and bought a wheel of their mature/aged cheddar to take with us to Pemberton for our stay there. Friendly service, and great selection of cheese flavours.
Dropped in here with a friend and enjoyed some cheese and condiment tasting. Recommend as a short stop on the way through. Service was friendly and prices reasonable.
