I have a strong preference for vegetarian all-day breakfasts, so when I was in need of a quick meal before returning to work, I decided to stop by the Old Post Office. I was impressed by how clean the restaurant was when I walked in, and the menu looked promising. The bartender, who greeted me with a friendly Irish accent, was very accommodating and quickly took my order. The food arrived promptly and it was delicious. The poached eggs were perfectly soft, the homemade sausages were fresh and tasty, the hash browns were crispy, the tomato was fresh, and the baked beans were cooked perfectly. The meal was fit for royalty, yet reasonably priced. I would definitely return to the Old Post Office...
Visited Monday lunchtime with my mum and little baby. The location of the restaurant/bar is perfect as it offers loads of parking near by. The interior of the bar is very warm and welcoming it felt comfortable, it also has a ramp outside perfect for the pram and also wheelchair friendly. The young girl working in there called Megan was very helpful and friendly as she helped us use the vinci app to order food. I had gone for the eggs benedict with salmon and my mum had the breakfast which we're both very tasty and well presented. Went for the first time after reading reviews and looking at the photos on the website. Dirty cutlery and glasses. Quesadillas were average. Gyros wrap was like a frisbee and couldn't get a knife through it. Filling average. Nachos very bland, looked nothing like the photos on the website and didn't come with soured cream, guacamole or salsa. Definitely won't be making a return visit and wouldn't recommend despite other reviews. More than disappointing.
Visiting on a Saturday lunchtime about 12.30, shocked to find we were the only patrons. Welcoming, warm atmosphere and obviously plenty of room, menu was okay, nothing special but as expected for this type of place that caters more for night-time crowd. Loaded hash browns very filling. Staff friendly, no regrets about the visit, and the limitless hit drinks welcome on a cold day.

Went here last night for a leaving do. Great location in the heart of Ormskirk town centre with friendly and professional service from staff and great food (I had the chicken katsu curry and the waffle which were both lovely). Highly recommended!!
Outstanding food and drink. Staff are committed and dedicated wrapped with professionism. Couldn't ask for more! The venue is spotless with pleasant back ground music. Jaspal is Outstanding as a general manager. A real credit to your organisation.
We went to this restaurant for lunch on a weekday. The building is beautiful and tastefully decorated. We ordered the pizza and duck pancakes, both were delicious and we definitely plan on coming back again.
This restaurant is fantastic. The interior is modern yet cozy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious dishes. I highly recommend dining here.
