We visited a new restaurant in Lodi for the first time. The decor is modern and trendy with plenty of space. Our server was friendly and attentive, checking on us regularly and the wait staff was quick to clear our plates. We started with the Scotch eggs based on a recommendation from friends, and they were absolutely delicious - a must try. I also had the pineapple margarita cocktail, which was different from the typical margarita but still good. For my main course, I had the beef Wellington with potatoes and zucchini, which was delicious and satisfying. The beef was cooked perfectly and I loved the pastry around it. Normally, the Oxford would get a 5-star review from me. It's a favorite place in Lodi. Granted, Christmas Eve was crowded and we, and others, were very grateful that they chose to be open on the Eve. We were celebrating a birthday. The food, as always, was outstanding. The staff friendly. However, 3 of our 4 meals were delivered together and the server never noticed/checked about the meal for the birthday person. She eventually returned to ask if the food was okay, at which point we had to remind her to go find the rib eye steak (the most expensive item on the menu). Sorry, you dropped the ball on this one. Four meals are not that many to remember for a single table. Disappointing.
I had a fantastic time at The Oxford and would highly recommend it. I went with a group of 5 friends, and our waiter was very accommodating and patient as we chatted instead of deciding on our orders. Two of us had the Beef Wellington, one got the Fish and Chips, another ordered the Vegetable Risotto with Chicken, and our remaining friend had a side salad and Flatbread with Hummus. We also enjoyed a round of drinks, including Prosecco, the Lodi Cosmopolitan, and a Chardonnay that our waiter suggested. Everything was cooked perfectly! I will definitely be returning in the future.
My third time there, with the first two being good experiences. This time we arrived 30 minutes after they opened and it was absolutely freezing. I ate with my coat on, as did other diners. I asked twice for the heater to be turned on, which they did, but it made little difference. The service was slow, and they forgot my Dad’s drink. My grilled cheese sandwich was very disappointing. Not sure I’ll be back.

We had a wonderful New Year's Eve dinner at this restaurant. The Scotch eggs were delicious, and our server allowed us to order an item from a previous menu (fries and curry). My husband loved his beef Wellington. I tried the Shepherd's Pie and it was incredibly flavorful and delicious. We are thrilled that this establishment has opened in Lodi as it has been a fantastic addition to downtown!
The staff at this restaurant are really friendly. The food was good, I had the fish and chips. The batter on the bottom of the fish seemed to be stuck to the wax paper instead of being crisp. The prices were reasonable. My only complaint is that they ran out of ice, and for $4 I only received half the portion I expected.
I'm not sure if I answered the noise question correctly, but the atmosphere was incredibly calm and quiet. There was no noise from the kitchen or staff, making it a wonderfully peaceful lunch. The server was fantastic, although I apologize for not remembering her name. Thank you once again for providing a great venue!
Place was not crowded but it took 45 minutes to get drinks and place our order. Food was another hour coming out! That is way too long on a Saturday afternoon! Food was very good when it finally came out

The food was amazing and the service was excellent! We went for lunch and the lunch menu had a lot of verities and very reasonable.
Service and food were excellent. Drinks a tad pricey. Overall, a great date night place.
