Having been here on numerous occasions, we decided to book for Mother’s Day. We paid a deposit and turned up as planned, only to find a set menu in service. We had no warning of this, and due to intolerances, the vast majority of main courses were unsuitable for one of us. Having raised these issues with the operations manager, she was very unsympathetic and made no effort to assist. Something as simple as speaking with the chef to figure a workaround is the least I expected; however, she simply advised that there was nothing she could do. We called in for breakfast, but had to wait 3 or 4 minutes after being noticed immediately by a server and without any acknowledgment. She was not particularly friendly, and only said, ‘table for two’, took us to our table and handed us the menu without saying anything else! At this time it was not very busy probably a dozen customers. Breakfast was okay, served on a warm plate but looked a small portion on a large plate. To be fair, it was filling and tasted good. Poorly cooked and over priced food Ordered the traditional fish and chips which was extremely disappointing. Seven chips which were pale, anaemic and undercooked. The fish was limp having been cooked at too low a temperature. The batter was not completely cooked, slimy on the inside and had the consistency of a buttered J cloth. The peas, such as they were, resembled something I would chastise my dog for leaving on the carpet. £15!!! Never again
My wife and I went to the restaurant for lunch on a Monday and were pleasantly surprised by how busy it was. The friendly staff quickly found us a table. I decided to order the 3 cheese sandwich while my wife went with the tuna and cucumber sandwich. We also got a side of sweet potato chips. It was all delicious and satisfying. Overall, it was the perfect lunch experience.

We booked for fathers a day dinner, the food was excellent service was very slow, we had to ask at one point we was preparing to leave if we had to wait any longer) how much longer our food would be. would recommend for the food but not the service.
We had a baby shower at the paddock and had the afternoon tea It was delicious The staff here are all amazing They worked so hard to ensure we had a great experience Nothing is too much trouble Thank you so very much
The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and helpful. We ended our meal with drinks and ice cream outside. There were six of us in our group, all family members, and everyone enjoyed their food.
We enjoyed a delightful Christmas meal at this restaurant. The turkey was juicy and delicious, the staff were friendly, and the service was quick even though it was very busy.

Only second visit here today was once again a real treat. Great service and food cooked to perfection. What a change to go somewhere where they can get it right
Really nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Chicken taco, Sunday roast and gammon chop were all delicious. Great place for family. Highly recommended.
