We chose this restaurant on a whim after reading some reviews, as we aren't very familiar with the area. We brought our two young daughters with us, and we found the atmosphere to be less than child-friendly, despite having a kids' menu that led us to believe it would be more accommodating for families. However, aside from that detail, the service and food were excellent. The pizzas were fantastic, and I really enjoyed the beef dip sandwich along with a side of homemade soup, both of which were incredibly tasty. My daughters loved their cheese pizza, which is impressive since they can be quite picky! I think our server's name was Cari, and she was wonderful. She managed the entire restaurant...
I recently ate here and it was a solid experience, the food was quite solid. The pricing was what you would expect although the entrees were priced slightly less but that didn't decrease the portion sizing. I went with some friends and we got nachos for the table, they were huge! and of good quality too, smothered in cheese. I had heard that the pizza was a best seller so I had the hawaiian and was not disappointed. September 10, 2023: Dinner with my partner. It's incredible how much the demeanor of a server can affect the overall experience. Unfortunately, ours was not the most pleasant. There wasn't much smiling or engagement; while she wasn't rude, she definitely lacked warmth. The pub itself is pretty standard. The food was acceptable, and they did have some decent Sunday specials, but that didn’t elevate the experience from merely okay to good. I ordered the meat lovers pizza with mushrooms, but the tomato sauce gave me terrible indigestion, something I haven't experienced in years! While this place has potential, it wouldn't be my first choice for a return visit.
Fantastic spot! The food and service were excellent. We visited on a Thursday evening, and it was quite busy, so I recommend calling ahead to make a reservation. The atmosphere is casual, and there's a wide variety of options on the menu. I tried the coconut shrimp, and it was delicious. The sweet potato fries were also incredible. Plus, they allow you to bring your own wine for a corkage fee of about $15, which is perfect if you have a favorite wine you'd like to enjoy!
