We had a great dinner on 7/27. Taylor was our waitress and she was absolutely delightful. (Party of 8, close to $400 tab). We decided to go back for a drink on the outdoor patio on 7/28. That didn’t go so well. The hostess (heavy set red head with smoky eyes) at the front was very put off when we asked them if we could just go to the bar out back for a drink. She said the outside bar was open but the tables were not. Then they tried to seat us inside. We said no and they seemed to just want us to leave rather than to understand what our party of 8, in attendance at their restaurant for the 2nd time in two days, really wanted. So we left. My girlfriend and I were on vacation and decided to stop by this restaurant since it was nearby our Airbnb and our local friends recommended it. The food was incredible, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. The service was exceptional, a solid 10/10. I have a seafood allergy, so I informed my waitress, and she assured me they'd take extra precautions. I ordered the chicken fried steak served over rice with sawmill gravy, and I couldn't stop eating it after the first bite! We'll definitely be returning next year! For anyone with dietary restrictions, this place gets an A+ for handling seafood allergies!

We went for late dinner. The hostess was very nice. That is where the good service ended. It was very apparent the staff was tired and basically done. While waiting for a table the bar tenders were constantly MIA. The waitress was so slow we went to the bar and ordered which was funny considering they were slow also. Then after we finished eating their closing time hit and off went the lights. Whether through a flipped breaker or just a message wasn’t clear, but it seemed to fit the mood the staff was sending. Food was, as normal, very good. I guess I need to remember this is a early dinning spot. ?‍

Me and my girlfriend were on vacation and stopped here because it was close to our Airbnb and heard from our friends, who are locals, about this place. They have amazing food, very calm ,and welcoming environment. Service was a 10/10. I personally cannot eat seafood of any kind because of allergy reasons. I let my waitress know and she said she would make sure they were extra careful! I ordered the chicken fried steak over rice with sawmill gravy and as soon as I tried my first bite I couldn’t stop!!! 100% will be back next year!

Absolutely amazing! This was, without a doubt, the best gumbo I've ever had. Every dish we tried was delicious. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the live music was enjoyable, even if the performer was an Auburn fan! Lol, Roll Tide! We highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the Perdido Key area.

Don't be mislead by the outside, this is a diamond in the rough. Our meal was fantastic, service was very good. Parking: Parking is around the restaurant and across the street. Wheelchair accessibility: I recall having a step to navigate with no wheel chair ramp.

The food was excellent, and the service and atmosphere were top-notch. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place. It’s also very kid-friendly—much more than I anticipated, especially since we had several grandchildren with us. Réservez une table maintenant

The service wasn't the greatest thing I had ever seen because they were busy but the food was still good. It's a fun place to bring family and the live music is fun to take a step outside in the back. We enjoyed our time.
