Went with family, and we booked our table prior to visiting. We waited at the desk for approx 5mins before anyone came to see us and show us to our table, which was covered with scratches and very sticky, was told there's the menu orders are taken at the bar..So we found a hygiene spray lying on a table with some clean napkins and did it our selves, even wiped the menu as they were grubby.Went and stood in a long queue as only one person was taken orders for food and serving drinks, eventually she took our order, and was told there was no tabs, pay as you drink and eat, The food was look warm ,burgers very dry and reheated chips, but you do get a spoonful of coleslaw, the fish was as hard as...
Ate here mid week lunch to take advantage of the 2 mains for £11.49. Add a starter for £2.99 and/or dessert for £2.99 so very good value. The restaurant was very quiet. The chicken goujons and potato starters were very nice. I got a cheese burger with chips. It was tasty enough. The fish and chips were fine too. We got caramel apple betty for dessert but wish we hadn’t bothered as they were soggy due to being heated in microwave. I’d never pay full price in here though.
We were staying at the Premier Inn and this is where we had breakfast. Day 1, no orange juice and rock hard bacon and the greasiest black pudding I have ever had. Day 2, took an age for anyone to acknowledge we were there. Again no orange juice and rock hard bacon, they did cook some fresh after trying to tell as the rock hard stuff under the heat lamp was fresh. Not a great breakfast and not worth the price.
Visited here last week for my evening dinner. Service was great, staff couldn't have done more for you. Food was lovely, the view across the water with the sun shining was breathe taking. There was a young girl (black hair), who went above and beyond. Will be back when next visiting.

Had a fantastic meal I had the ,The full rack of ribs and chicken with salad chips and the Chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream and added a wee bit of Custard just excellent and staff through front to back of house thank you very good and great location
I went here today with my someone I support, they love going here as they feel welcomed by all staff members and how they will take time out if there not too busy to chat with them and like the chef Steven as he knows what way he likes his fish to be cooked,
Friendly, down to earth staff, serving up decent breakfasts and evening bar meal selections. Always greeted with a bit of welcoming craic, no matter how busy a shift it's been. What more can you ask for.
Decent food at a reasonable price. I can recommend the Cheese and Onion Pie, and as for the Chocolate Brownies, delicious! Attached to the Premier Inn next door.

Very friendly staff. Anne and Claire were very welcoming. Had a lovely meal. Reasonable prices and good choice of food. Highly recommended.
We had another nice breakfast and the staff were friendly and chatty as usual, just a bit sad it will probably be our last
