It was (I think $1.75 per hour, limit 10 hours (plenty of time for a Doors opened at 7, we got into the venue easily at 7:30. This venue is AWESOME! Now it appears there might be a couple of different areas for performers. We were in the area immediately to the left when you enter. Ambience is cool, sound quality and acoustics wonderful. Beautiful space, good sound, decent amount of chairs and tables, super fast and very kind service. Parking meters on 6th St. didn't seem to be monitored, so I parked for almost free all day a block away. Parking meters on Monmouth are highly monitored though it seemed. Cute vintage stores, distilleries, pizza and other food close by, several blocks of shops to browse, plus it's super fun to take the pedestrian paths over all of the bridges close by. Some locals said the area gets a bit dicey at night with potential crime but I wouldn't have felt that way on my own if not warned to be alert after hours. Loved it!
This place might just become my new favorite spot for live music. I came to see Wheatus and was really impressed by the cozy atmosphere. I was thrilled to not be packed in with thousands of other people. It was definitely one of the best live music experiences I've had, and I will definitely be returning.
Most shows were sweet but the Off With Their Heads one, where they were throwing beer bottles at them is why it's not that great of a place. Staff should of done something. That disappointed me.

This is my favorite restaurant in the area, managed and staffed by amazing people. They are consistently top-notch. If you haven't dined here yet, make sure to do so as soon as possible.
This restaurant offers a more intimate atmosphere and the staff is amazing. I highly recommend it.
Great place for live music. They also have reasonable drinks prices. The acoustics are good.
Southgate is always a good time, bands always sound good, bartenders are always nice!
