The hotel is located in a beautiful neighborhood with many cool shops. The shop front is pretty hidden as the entrance is shared by some other dealers. Since we were new for Mexican foods, it took us a while to choose our article as there were no pictures on their menu, so it had to google it up. Tacos are fresh and the meat is well flavored. I have the grilled chicken, steak and fish. The 2 spices are refreshing and cesty. Fries are fresh and the right texture. Very decent torta, and friendly staff who were attentive. Prices seem very fair and the portions were adequate?although I wish I had a few more fries. I really liked their fries which were hot and crispy. Did I mention that I wish I had a few more fries? My youngest daughter enjoyed her item on the very reasonably priced kids menu (cheese quesadilla), and my oldest daughter liked her flautas. Nicely decorated interior that was comfortable and larger than it appears from the street. I?ll be a repeat customer for sure. Nice restaurant. Good mood with a simple menu. I like it if options don't overwhelm you. Has Carnitas Enchiladas Especiales, really beautiful taste with a touch of spicy that was exactly right. However, the presentation was not great and the Coen Tortillas were not rolled on the floor as I see them traditionally. Caused them to be more on the soft side, but taste has compensated that. Good import beer choice, went for Pacifico. I finished my meal with Mexican flan napolitan, which I would recommend for sharing as it is a little dense and reach, not a bad thing, but fair warning.
If you?re looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the place to be. On the outside it might look like a dingy restaurant but when you go inside, it looks very presentable. The food is amazing! We had the nachos with pulled pork (carnitas) and the flavour was just oozing. Never had nachos that tasted that good. We also had the fish tacos and I was not expecting that to taste that good either. Definitely will be coming back to try some more food. If you?re looking for a Latin American restaurant experience, this is the place to be.
This was my place to get food every time I needed to pay a visit to the hospital. Quality is great, price a bit salty, but still worth to go once in a while. However, today I ordered an enchilada with rice and they took it another level. The amount I received was ridiculously small, rice came in a tiny sauce cup... I paid $48 for two, I was expecting at least something that I wouldn't still be hungry after. Not coming back...
Our popular Mexican restaurant. Authentic flavors and great staff. Our children also love it and ask themselves sideways when we go back next. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable. Close to the hospital parking lot is a bit hard to find but within a few blocks. Very happy that I no longer have to go to downtown for large Mexican cuisine.
